Diversified Technique
Diversified Technique is the most common and widely accepted adjustment technique used by doctors of chiropractic. Diversified is characterized by a gentle thrust which typically results in a pain free osseous popping sound as the adjustment is given. Diversified technique is differentiated from other techniques in that its objective is to restore proper movement and alignment of spine and joint dysfunction.
In addition, Diversified methods have been developed to adjust extremity joints, allowing for beneficial applications in treating sports injuries and other injuries. This technique remains the principal system taught at Cleveland Chiropractic College, National University of Health Sciences, New York Chiropractic College, Southern California University of Health Sciences, and Northwestern College of Chiropractic.
